1. Overview

At Lyravi, your privacy matters deeply to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Lyravi website and web application (collectively, the "Service").

By using Lyravi, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

We collect only what we need, use it only to serve you, and never sell your personal data to third parties.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways — information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you use the Service.

Information you provide:

  • Name — collected at account creation to personalize your experience
  • Email address — used to create and manage your account and for communications
  • User content — journal entries, tasks, habits, priorities, and other content you create within the app

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — how you interact with the app, features used, session duration, and frequency of use
  • Device information — browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
  • Log data — IP address, access times, pages viewed, and error logs
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to maintain your session and improve the Service
Data Type Why We Collect It

Usage & analytics data Understand how the app is used and improve features
Google Calendar data Display your events within the Lyravi app

3. Google Calendar Data

When you choose to connect your Google account, Lyravi requests permission to access your Google Calendar data. This is entirely optional.

Here is exactly how we handle this data:

  • We access your calendar events solely to display them within the Lyravi app
  • We do not store your Google Calendar data on our servers beyond what is needed to render it in the app
  • We do not share your Google Calendar data with any third parties
  • We do not use your Google Calendar data for advertising or marketing purposes
  • You can revoke Lyravi's access to your Google Calendar at any time through your Google Account settings or within Lyravi's account settings
Lyravi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access Google data only to provide the features you've requested.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Personalize your experience within the app
  • Send you important account notifications and updates

  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions that significantly affect you without your consent.

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Analytics and marketing tools — to help us understand usage and improve the product (see Section 6)
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction
  • With your consent — for any other purpose with your explicit permission

We never share your Google Calendar data with third parties under any circumstances.

6. Analytics & Marketing Tools

Lyravi uses third-party analytics and marketing tools to help us understand how users interact with the Service and to improve our marketing efforts. These tools may collect:

  • Pages visited and features used within the app
  • Session duration and frequency of visits
  • General geographic location (country/region level)
  • Device and browser information
  • Referral sources (how you found Lyravi)

These tools operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We configure these tools to minimize data collection and do not allow them to use your data for their own advertising purposes.

You may opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings or using privacy tools such as browser extensions that block tracking scripts.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service.

  • If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes
  • Anonymized or aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you
  • Google Calendar data is not stored persistently on our servers

8. Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
  • Secure access controls and authentication practices
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring
  • Limited employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at security@lyravi.com.
